nids < Tags < Home

<nids> The <nids> tag specifies a NIDS Level III radial or raster image to appear within the context of a map. As such, <nids> tags can only appear as children of a <map>. Each <nids> tag must contain a single <data> tag. Currently, the data source for a NIDS plot is limited to a NIDS Level III data file. NIDS mosaics such as those produced by Unisys are not currently supported in WxML.

Attributes attribute default description visible "true" Is the NIDS plot initially visible? name The radar and product IDs. Example: "KTLX BREF1." Custom product name to appear in the legend. This overrides any default name or provides a name for a product not found in the resources.

Children tag quantity description <data> 1 (required) The source from which the NIDS data are obtained.
